I recognize that most people enjoy the idea of an extra hour of sleep that is brought forth by daylight savings, but god damn it, man. Because we gain an extra hour, the day gains an extra hour, which means the week gains an extra hour. Which means Gears of War 2 is now an hour further away than originally perceived (only because I forgot about daylight savings in the first place). But god damn it.
At any rate, congratulations to Epic Games and their marketing department for another ridiculously well done trailer, dubbed the Last Day, set to DeVotchka - How It Ends. See it here, and join me in the wait for November 7th (more specifically, lining up on the 6th with a sweater and jacket for a November 7th midnight release).
Also, keep in mind that starting November 7th is the Gears of War 2 Assault LIVE Weekend. The odds of winning prizes are pretty slim, but you can play against devs and pros alike.
